  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh blackberries, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds (culinary grade)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  2. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and dried lavender. Gradually add to the flour mixture, gently folding in blackberries and white chocolate chips.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, pat into a circle 1 inch thick, cut into wedges, and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake at 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
