- 1 lb of flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 cups of fresh broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by slicing the flank steak and washing the broccoli.
- Marinate the beef in a mix of soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch for 15-30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat and sear the marinated beef for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry until vibrant and tender, around 3-5 minutes.
- Adjust seasonings if needed and serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
- This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
- You can substitute chicken for beef and use gluten-free soy sauce if desired.
