Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp by combining flour, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Dredge shrimp in the seasoned flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded shrimp in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in heavy cream and simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
- Serve the crispy shrimp topped with the creamy sauce and garnish with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, serve fresh and warm.
- Leftover shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Avoid microwaving leftovers as it may make the shrimp soggy.
