Instructions
- Freeze the mozzarella sticks for about 30 minutes to prevent melting during cooking.
- Wrap each frozen mozzarella stick in a slice of bacon, ensuring itβs secured tightly.
- Set up a breading station: dip each bacon-wrapped stick into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the breaded mozzarella sticks in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
- For a healthier version, you can bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 15-20 minutes.
