Instructions
- Start by boiling the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them until smooth, ensuring you have about 2 cups.
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Shape the mixture into small balls or puffs, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) for baking, spray the puffs with cooking spray, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Alternatively, fry in hot oil for about 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Unbaked puffs can be frozen; bake them straight from the freezer with added time.
