Instructions
- Prepare the Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter and sugar, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Bake the Cake: Pour the batter into your Hello Kitty cake pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool the Cake: Let the Hello Kitty cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack to cool completely.
- Frost and Decorate: Once the cake is completely cool, frost with pink frosting and decorate with sprinkles, candies, and edible glitter.
