- 1 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup milk

- 1 egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Add the shredded cabbage to the dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, and lightly beaten egg. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and cabbage. Gently fold until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil during the last 15-20 minutes.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
